Glamour MagazineA few months ago, I attended Glamour Magazine's Top 10 College Women 50th Anniversary in New York.
The event brought together a few hundred amazing and inspiring women who have been winners of the competition in the past (I was a Glamour College Woman in 2003).
Among the winners are successful entrepreneurs (including Martha Stewart and the CEO of Pimp Your Friend), the Mayor of Dallas, TX, managing directors of financial houses (including Goldman Sachs), political advisors, philanthropists, authors, and artists.
The anniversary/reunion was a phenomenal event and it reminded me about the importance of the contest in recognizing leaders and making a positive impact in the lives of women.
Tye contest is a great opportunity to recognize the next generation of leaders (including women innovators and entrepreneurs) and I wanted to encourage college juniors (that's 3rd year undergraduate students) in Canada and U.S. to apply for the competition.
The contest deadline is November 30, 2007. For more information or to apply, visit http://www.glamour.com/news/top10collegewomen
(I look forward to seeing lots of innovators and entrepreneurs at the 75th Anniversary!)
